2002: Approval of clinical degree in small animal diseases under the Danish Veterinary Association

2007: Reapproval of clinical degree in small animal diseases as above

 

Employment:

1987 – 2000:  Working at a small animal veterinary practice in Copenhagen

From 2000: Employed at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University of Copenhagen, in 2007 fusioned with University of Copenhagen, new name: Faculty of Life Sciences.

 

Present job description:

 Working for the Dept. of Small Animal Clinical Sciences, running the Exotic Pet Service, teaching veterinary students in diseases of exotic pets and other clinical disciplines.

 

Selected activities:

 1993: Lecturing in diseases of guinea pigs at University of Utrecht, Nederlands

2002: Clinical research abstract: “Labial Crustous Dermatitis in Guinea Pigs” presented at the BSAVA Congress, Birmingham, England.

2003: Leader of round table discussions about guinea pigs at International Conference on Exotics, Florida, USA

2005: 2 weeks stay at the Avian and Exotic Animal Clinic, Veterinary University, Brno, Czech Republic

2006: Presenting 2 posters at WSAVA congress, Prague, Czech Republic (see publications below)

2007: Running a 1 weeks course in exotic animal diseases for veterinary students at the Norwegian Veterinary University, Oslo, Norway.

2008: Participating in ESAVS course in Advanced Exotic Pets, Veterinary University, Brno, Czech Republic.
